Although breaks are wonderful, it is nice to have everyone back on campus!
With the New Year, comes our revised schedule. The Third Quarter Schedule can be found on our website under Family Resources.
SUA is pleased to share that we have partnered with Vonderhaar’s Catering for the remainder of the 2020-2021 school year. Vonderhaar’s has agreed to offer our students a boxed lunch for $7.00. Here is a link to the lunch options. Students can use MySchoolBucks or cash to pay for the boxed lunch, which started on January 11. Additionally, we have three self-serve vending machines available. The vending machines include a variety of options like salads, snacks, and sandwiches. The vending machines accept cash, credit cards, Apple pay and Google pay. MySchoolBucks cannot be used for the vending machines. Finally, we have five microwaves strategically positioned through the Keller Center.
Now that we are into the second semester, it is time to start planning for the year-end senior events, and the 2021-2022 School Year.
Parents of students in the Class of 2021, please look for a special mailer from me in the next few weeks. The mailer will include the essential dates and details about the senior year-end events.
The 2021-2022 Year at a Glance calendar is almost complete and we plan to share it in next week’s Parent Bulletin. Additionally, the updated 2020-2021 Year at a Glance calendar is available on our website under Family Resources. If you have not already done so, please put the important SUA dates in your family’s calendar.
Admission letters for the Class of 2025 will be mailed, today, Wednesday, January 13. Enrollment Day is January 27. As you may recall from your daughter’s SUA admission process, Michelle Dellecave and her Admissions Team does a fantastic job of working with the families and we are blessed to have them in our community.
Martin Luther King Day is January 18 and school will be closed. To commemorate the life's work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., we encourage your daughter to spend time on Monday making a positive impact on the community.
Students will have the opportunity next week to learn about No Name-Calling Week. As part of our school’s ongoing effort to create a learning environment where all students feel they belong, No Name-Calling Week encourages students to address name-calling and bias-based bullying so that everyone feels safe and affirmed at school. The following week, January 31 - February 6, we will continue the call to be kind to one another by celebrating Catholic Schools Week.
President’s Day is February 15 and school will be closed.
Our next Faith in Action Days (Spiritual Journey Days) will take place on February 22 and 23. These are required school days; refer to page 23 of the Student/Parent Handbook for specific attendance expectations.
