Dear Saint Ursula Community,
Lelia and I enjoyed spending time with all of you who were able to join us for Taste of SUA and the Community Meet and Greet last Thursday. It is a pleasure to have parents, caretakers, alumnae, and other friends on campus to share the strong educational program and varied opportunities that are part of Saint Ursula Academy.
There is some outstanding news to share. Four members of our Class of 2024 earned the distinction of being named National Merit Semifinalists. Please join me in congratulating Madelyn Edmondson, Natalie Gockerman, Rachel Reyering, and Grayson Rohmiller on this outstanding accomplishment. From the 1.3 million students who took the qualifying PSAT/NMSQT, there are only 16,000 Semifinalists in the nation. Semifinalists are the highest scorers in each of the 50 states and represent less than one percent of each state’s high school seniors. We are so proud of these students!
In keeping with the theme of good news, SUA is a finalist in Cincy Greater Cincinnati Non-Profit of the Year Awards! Please see below for all of the details about how our community can rally to make this well-deserved honor happen for our school.
Here are a few reminders to help you and your daughter navigate the rest of the week: Friday, September 15 is a schoolwide Mass to celebrate the birthday of Saint Ursula Academy. It is time to break out the cardigans again as part of the Mass uniform. Our students will also have the opportunity to participate in Adoration on Thursday of this week and Rosary on Tuesday of next week if they wish to do so. We are grateful for our Campus Ministry program for providing these experiences for our students to grow in their faith and spirituality while at SUA.
