Dear Saint Ursula Community,
It is hard to believe that this is our last full week before the Christmas break and the end of the semester. This week is a great example of how the Saint Ursula Academy experience involves our past, present and future.
The week started with the annual tradition of the Christmas Tea in the Parlors for alumnae and their families. They are invited annually to visit the beautifully decorated Parlors, enjoy some Christmas Tea to echo the Senior Tea tradition of their graduation year, and hear SUAVE sing Christmas carols in the Chapel. There is a hot chocolate bar, crafts, and even a Santa visit for the children. It is heartwarming that so many alumnae return to campus to reconnect with friends and share their special memories at SUA.
Also in the theme of past and present coming together, this is a gentle reminder that Saint Nick gift collection for the Sisters ends this Friday. With the help of the Parents’ Club, our current students spread a little Christmas cheer with the Sisters during the holidays by purchasing items on their wish list. A link and details are included later in this week's bulletin, and more information is in the students’ Sunday Message.
Our present students are adding some festivity to this week through a Christmas Spirit Week. There are ugly sweaters, Christmas PJ days, and just a whole lot of frivolity to keep spirits bright amid the preparation for exams. Parents and caregivers, this is a stressful week for the students as they have exams next Tuesday and Wednesday. Please keep in mind that they may need a little extra loving care and grace as they navigate through wrapping up the semester and preparing for exams. We purposefully plan the school calendar so that the semester ends before the Christmas break allowing students to thoroughly enjoy the much-needed break from school.
Finally, this is the season when we are actively working on admissions and preparing for our future class of Bulldogs - the Class of 2028! Please keep our prospective students and their families in your prayers as they discern their plans for next school year.

Exams are Tuesday, December 19, and Wednesday, December 20. We have a planned day on Thursday, December 21, for a make-up exam day in the case of inclement weather. The updated two-week calendar has all of the exam details.
