Dear Saint Ursula Community,

By the time that you receive this Parent Bulletin, the halls of Saint Ursula Academy will be very quiet.  Nothing clears out a school like the end of exams!  All of the preparation, studying, and projects, and performances will be complete.  The Christmas fun and festivities on campus will have concluded. The girls will be off to their next Christmas celebrations with family and friends. 

My biggest reflection at this time is how grateful I am that you share your daughters with us.  They bring Lelia and I joy each day.  Of all of the jobs on campus, theirs is the hardest:  growing up, learning about themselves and their world, and preparing to make an impact.  It is not easy work and can certainly be messy at times.  The students inspire us each and every day with how they navigate this time in their lives.  They learn with optimism and dedication.  When the going gets tough, they are there for each other.  They show us the light of God through just being themselves and expressing their own unique personalities and approaches.  Thank you for all that you do as parents and caretakers to nurture such great individuals, and thank you for trusting their education to us.

Lelia and I sincerely hope and pray that this Christmas brings you the blessings that you most need.  We hope there is quiet and restorative time for you and your families as well as lots of fun and memory-making.

Here is the updated two-week calendar.  Classes resume on Thursday, January 4, 2024.  The school will be open on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, for faculty and staff inservice.
