The Saint Ursula Academy Alumnae Board is pleased to announce that the Alumnae Mentoring
Program (AMP) is up and running! We presented this college and career mentoring program to
Juniors and Seniors in September and have matched 20 Students with Mentors and/or Job
Shadowing Hosts in just the first two months. We are thrilled with this early momentum and
anticipate this number to grow, especially as Students plan their Job Shadowing requirement for the
spring.

We have over 70 Alumnae registered as Mentors/Hosts, some local, some in other cities. They
include accomplished physicians, nurses, educators, engineers, lawyers, Chief Financial Officers,
communications experts and journalists, designers, project managers, human resource officials,
social workers, foreign affairs professionals and others. Many work at some of the most significant
companies and organizations in our city and around the country.

We would now like to open registration of Mentors/Hosts to you!

We know that there is rich knowledge and experience amongst you that could expand our range and
strengthen AMP’s ability to support your daughters. If you would like to boost the preparedness of
our next generation as a volunteer Mentor or Host, we invite you to register by clicking the link below:

All professions are valuable to this effort, though our specific needs change over time. For the
moment, we have high demand for health care professionals, STEM/engineering, IT, media,
finance and marketing but we also receive requests for more unique fields, too. Don’t
underestimate your eligibility for this role. We welcome professionals of any age including those
who may have left the workforce in the last few years. We also welcome those who work
from home or virtually, and those who may not have taken a traditional path to their current roles.
On a related note, we anticipate expanding how AMP shares knowledge with SUA students. If you
are interested in being part of potential in-person, small group or speaking events in the coming
year, please enter “EVENTS” in the comments section of your AMP registration.

Thank you in advance for your participation in AMP. We look forward to working with you!
