Winter Sports Update

All of the winter teams have resumed competition following the holiday break. The HoopDawgs got their fourth win of the season last Monday against Talawanda and will resume GGCL play this Thursday with a rematch against Seton. The BowlDawgs defeated MND last week and took their 3-4 record on the road this past weekend to bowl in the Lancer Baker Bash tournament. The team finished a respectable 8th out of 15 teams in that tournament. The AquaDawgs swam past Mercy McAuley last Thurday in a dual meet at St. X, winning 9 of the 11 events! Mia Meinhardt '22 won the West Clermont Invitational dive meet last weekend, besting the field of 24 girls and boys with a final score of 402.5. Good luck to all of the Dawgs as they continue to compete this winter! You can view results and upcoming matches by selecting the schedule icon from the Winter Sports page.

Spring Sports Registration

If your daughter is interested in trying out for one of SUA's three spring sports teams (lacrosse, softball, and track & field), select that sport from your FinalForms account in the "Manage Sports" section. Doing this will put her name on our email distribution lists for further information about off-season work and tryouts.

Please note the following regarding Easter break: Spring sport teams do not have required practices or matches from Thursday, April 1 through Tuesday, April 6. If your daughter wishes to participate on a spring team, she should expect to return for required activities on Wednesday, April 7.

Congratulations!

Kim Gunning, our Assistant Athletic Director, has been named to the LaRosa's Hall of Fame for her stellar career as a high school volleyball coach and athletic administrator. In 2016, she was the recipient of KHSAA Brigid DeVires Outstanding Leadership Award for her service as an athletic administrator.
