The HoopDawgs played great team defense last Thursday and defeated Seton in a critical GGCL matchup. The basketball team will end GGCL play next week with a road game at MND and a home game against Mercy McAuley.
Great job to all the AquaDawgs who competed against St. Bernard last week! Many of the girls dropped times and competed well. In addition to doing a wonderful job of supporting one another, the girls also cheered on the St. Bernard swimmers while they were finishing their races. This was noticed by the St. Bernard swimmers and appreciated by the St. Bernard team. The girls showed excellent sportsmanship and were great representatives of SUA! We were very proud!
Mia Meinhardt '22 finished 4th at the West Clermont Classic dive meet this weekend. Good luck to Mia and fellow diver Anna Mussman '23 at the GGCL Dive Meet this Saturday!
The BowlDawgs defeated Ursuline by 80 pins last week before dropping their match to Seton. The girls will bowl against Ursuline again this week before finishing GGCL matches next week against Mercy McAuley and MND. Good luck to all 20 of our bowlers who are part of our bowling teams this year!
Getting Ready for Spring
We are about one month away from starting up the spring teams! If your daughter is interested in trying out for one of SUA's three spring sports teams (lacrosse, softball, and track & field), select that sport from your FinalForms account in the "Manage Sports" section. Doing this will put her name on our email distribution lists for further information about off-season work and tryouts.
Please note the following regarding Easter break: Spring sport teams do not have required practices or matches from Thursday, April 1 through Tuesday, April 6. If your daughter wishes to participate on a spring team, she should expect to return for required activities on Wednesday, April 7.
All student athletes must have the OHSAA Pre-Participation physical form on file in the Athletic Office prior to trying out for a spring sport. After getting the physician signed form completed, parents can upload the document in FinalForms OR send the hardcopy with your daughter to school and have her place it in Kim Gunning's mailslot in the main office.
