Winter Sports Update
We are very proud of our teams and coaches for working through the beginning part of this season.
The AquaDawgs had a terrific meet last Saturday against Lakota West. The girls will train through the holidays in preparation for January dual meets. Due to COVID restrictions, large invitational meets have been canceled.
The BowlDawgs had an impressive win against McNick last week on Senior Night. Congratulations to our senior bowlers Carlotta Dattilo and Gloria Mangold. The teams are operating in "pods", reducing the number of girls they are in "close contact" with through the season.
The HoopDawgs opened up the GGCL schedule with a road victory against Mercy McAuley last week. The girls made clutch free throws in the second half. With limited fans in the stands, our players who are on the bench have taken on the role of cheering loudly for their teammates! Both teams will play GGCL foe Ursuline on Friday. You can watch the games live on the Watch Games Live page of our website.
Attention potential spring athletes: OHSAA requires preparticipation physicals for all student athletes. You can print the required form off the parent's FinalForms list and have it completed by your physician. FinalForms now allows parents to upload an electronic copy of the physician signed physical. Once that is done, the Athletic Department receives a notification to review the uploaded document and update the student's physical expiration date in FinalForms.
Winter Pay to Play Fees
Winter Pay to Play fees will be applied to your FACTS account this week. Fees are $300 for a first sport in a school year and $150 for a second sport (or sister). There is a $450 family maximum. Fees help offset the costs of officials, facility rentals, competition fees, and coaching stipends.
