As part of ongoing campus safety initiatives, our student parking lot located behind the Keller Student Center at the corner of Bell Street and William Howard Taft is completely secured this year.  We have received some questions about how a car can exit the lot when the gate is down.  The security gate will open when a vehicle exits without the use of a gate access card. When exiting this parking lot, the driver needs to pull up to within 5 feet of the gate and wait a few seconds for the gate to open.  The gate will automatically close again after 90 seconds.
