2021 Community D.R.I.V.E. This is the annual Saint Ursula Academy Community Food Drive. D.R.I.V.E. stands for DONATE, RESPOND, INVEST, VALUE, and EDUCATE.  Beginning January 18, students will be encouraged to collect and donate nutritious, shelf-stable food for local agencies in need. We encourage all students to participate in D.R.I.V.E. while following COVID safe protocols, wearing masks, and social distancing.  Pre canvassing neighborhoods with flyers and returning at a later date to pick up donations from a doorstep is ideal. Monetary donations, in the form of checks, are also appreciated and will offset the cost of fresh food for the agencies. 

  • Pre-canvass sheets are available at Saint Ursula for students to canvass their neighborhood for donations. The pre-canvass sheet is also linked here for at-home printing. 
  • Boxes are available in East and South Foyers for students to fill and return, or they may bring food items as donated to be boxed.
  • Donations should be brought to Saint Ursula Academy by Tuesday, February 2.  
  • Seniors and Juniors can drop donations in East Foyer, Sophomores and Freshmen can drop their donations in South Foyer.

The most requested food items include: peanut butter, meal kits with meat, tuna, instant soups, instant coffee, cereal, granola bars, fruit and fruit snacks. Food items which pull-tab open or come in single serve portions are preferred. Many individuals do not have can openers.

These are the agencies we will support with links to each website. Mercy Neighborhood Ministries, Queen City Kitchen and Open Door Ministry in Walnut Hills. St. George Food Pantry and Little Sisters of the Poor in Clifton.

During this unprecedented time of the pandemic, the need for food support in the Cincinnati area is tremendous and agencies are stretched as never before.  Please encourage your daughter to contribute by collecting donations for D.R.I.V.E.

Mission Trips: We will offer four exciting opportunities for service trips this June. Your daughters will attend an assembly to explain these opportunities the week of January 11. The applications for these trips are due on January 29.  After that date, we will then schedule interviews with students to explain the expectations, go over safety precautions, and answer questions. Final decisions will be by February 15. More information and the applications for all the trips are on our internal google website. Your daughter can access this information through her log-in.
