Academic Support Reminders: We want all students to finish strong in their courses this year and we have many support resources available to help them out! Students may access help through the B.A.R.C. program, asking for a one-on-one tutor, accessing outside tutors {see a list of possibilities here}, and of course are encouraged to meet with their teachers any time they are struggling!
If you are ever struggling to assist your student with accessing help, please contact your daughter’s counselor. We are here to help!!
Reminder! Testing Day for 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students is Tuesday, March 26. Students should arrive to school no later than 7:45 am and plan to be dismissed a little after noon.
OPPORTUNITY FOR SPRING BREAK!! Is your daughter interested in Law, Political Science, Criminal Justice, or Global Competence/Equity & Ethical Issues? On Tuesday April 2 (over Spring Break), we have been invited to select students (any grade level) to spend the day at the First District Court of Appeals with local judge, Marilyn Zayas! This awesome day of learning about Judge Zayas' job and how her court operates day-to-day will take place in the Taft building (one block from the county courthouse), during school(ish) hours. If your student (any grade) would like to join the group of SUA students taking advantage of this opportunity, she should let Ms. Roman know by Friday of this week! There is no cost to participate. Students would need their own transportation to get to the Taft Building and back that day.
Bulldog Blast for this week can be found here!
