The National Association of College Admission Counseling (NACAC) holds an annual College Fair each fall (usually held at the Convention Center downtown). This year, the event will be virtual and be held on a few different dates. The first fair will be this Sunday, September 13 beginning at noon. There are a multitude of options to choose during this fair, including admissions presentations, Q & As, and meet-and-greets. All are free and you can come and go as you please. Please consider attending this event with your daughter! If your daughter is interested in an HBCU (Historically Black College/University), you may also want to check out this online HBCU College Fair on September 19.
Information about the Knights of Columbus Scholarship can be found on their website this year. This scholarship is worth $1,000 and is for a current high school student and can be used toward high school tuition. Every Ohio Catholic high school in Ohio is allowed one recipient, so please apply if your daughter/family fit the criteria. This scholarship is need-based.
On Thursday morning, our Brave 1s group will meet for the first time! Brave 1s are students who are the only student from their elementary school who chose to come to SUA! We love celebrating our Brave 1s each year! This year we have 25 freshmen Brave 1s.
