Families of Freshmen, Sophomores and Juniors: Mark your calendars for College Planning Night at SUA on October 5 at 6pm! This annual event is a must for families to attend! We host several local college admission, testing, and career experts who present informational workshops. Students and families are able to choose the presentations which best meet their needs. Families of Juniors: ACE Test Prep will host a prep session at Saint Ursula Academy leading up to the October 28 ACT. The SUA class will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30-9pm on October 3, 5, 17, 19, 24, 26 (Please note the week off for SUA Exams between the first and second weeks of the class). All students were invited to apply to the 2023-24 Bulldog Business and STEM Leadership Program in partnership with the University of Cincinnati. The program includes three visits to UC to explore business and engineering options, experience what it's like to be a student at UC by eating at the dining hall, talking with current students, and working with UC Lindner Business/Engineering & Applied Sciences admissions staff on hands-on experiences to explore major and career options. Application to join is here! Students must return the application with all forms signed and completed by Sept. 15!
Last week, Freshman Brave Ones met for the first time! Brave Ones are freshmen who are the only students from their elementary/middle schools to come to SUA. The SUA Counseling Department supports these students by providing programming and social connection activities each month! Questions? All freshmen will be meeting one-on-one with their counselor over the next few weeks for a quick check in to see how the transition is going! Most students will be meeting during their Freshman Seminar bell. Students not in that course will receive an email from their counselor to set up a meeting at 5th bell or lunch.
