SEE YOU TONIGHT! We will host our annual College Night for 9th, 10th, and 11th graders (and their families) in the Keller Center from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. ES Families will meet at 5:30pm in the Theater immediately prior for their own focused programming. Our agenda includes an overview of the college counseling process at SUA and several "choose your own adventure" breakouts so you can learn about the topics that best fit your daughter's needs.
On Tuesday, October 14, Freshmen will participate in Ursuline Heritage Day at SUA, Seniors are off (college visits!!) and all Sophomores and Juniors will take the PSAT at SUA. Sophomores and Juniors need to arrive at their testing room (sent to them via email) by 8:15am with a FULLY charged computer. Students will be dismissed around 11:15am so please plan rides accordingly. Students in ES will have a later dismissal time, which will be communicated through ES. All testers may be out of uniform. They must bring their school ID, fully charged computer (with Bluebook installed), an Acceptable Calculator (if they choose not to use the built-in Desmos calculator in Bluebook), and a pen or pencil for scratch work (does not have to be a No. 2 pencil). The best preparation for testing is a great night of sleep!
Parents of Seniors:
Parents of Juniors: Juniors will attend their "Intro to College Planning" presentation with the counseling team on October 9. We will review their planning timeline, review testing, answer questions, and invite them to sign up for their Fall College Check-In with their counselor. As always, if you have any questions, please reach out to your daughter's counselor.
