Today, all students completed a survey about school connectedness. The Counseling Department regularly solicits feedback from students, both formally and informally, to understand how each student feels connected to classmates, faculty, and the SUA community because connectedness to school is a predictor of academic success. The information provided in this survey is confidential and individual responses will only be used by the counseling department. A summary of the stressors that SUA students feel (with no names attached) is shared with the SUA community so we can all work together to mitigate stressors and build the best mentally-healthy community we can be.

Parents of Juniors:

• ACE Test Prep will host a prep session at SUA leading up to the March 10th test date. Register here. The course will take place on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6:30-9:00: The class dates are: February 12, 17, 19, 26, and March 3, 5. (*Note there is no class on 2/24 due to the SUA NHS ceremony).
• If you haven't already signed up for your Junior College Planning Meeting, please do so THIS WEEK! Your daughter has all the necessary info and the times available!  There are several other tasks that students must complete prior to the meeting, and one piece that parents must complete: The Class of 2027 Parent Questionnaire!

Parents of Seniors: On Tuesday, several members of the SUA Class of 2025 came back to share their experiences in college and all seniors were able to ask questions and seek advice! As a reminder, mid-year transcripts are sent in late January to all colleges to which your daughter applied. If you do not want a mid-year transcript sent to a certain school, please reach out to your daughter's counselor!
