Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, 1N5, and MindPeace are hosting a workshop locally for families of teens living with depression or anxiety on February 25. Information can be found here. 

Parents of Juniors and Sophomores: We have opened up new slots for the new year for students to participate in our partnership program with Flourish Coaching: Launch Career Clarity. We are accepting registrations through January 19 or until it is filled! We recently secured a grant to cover the cost of participation for any interested sophomore or junior. Parents of Juniors:

• Please sign up for your Junior College Meeting this week so that your family can find the time that works best for you this winter/spring! Contact your daughter’s counselor with questions. The required Parent Questionnaire should be completed before your meeting time!
• If you are planning to sign your student up for a ACT this spring, they have sent us a $5 off coupon that you may use when you are paying. It can be found here.
• On Friday, all juniors will meet with their counselor for our new SOS Signs of Suicide training program. Parents received an email on Monday with more details about this new component of our social-emotional learning curriculum. 

Parents of Seniors: 

• On Friday during Gold Bell, we welcomed back 2023 graduates who talked about their first-year college experiences and provided an opportunity for seniors to ask questions about roommates, majors, financial aid, and settling into college. FAFSA has opened as a soft roll out. Please complete FAFSA as soon as you are able, particularly for any college who requires its completion in order to be eligible for scholarship dollars.
• Midyear transcripts and reports will be sent to all the schools to which your senior applied by next week.
