You are invited to the next Parent Speaker Series event to be held Wednesday, March 13 at 6pm-Virtual! Navigating and understanding the many aspects of financial aid and affordability for college can be an important piece of the college application process for virtually all families and their college-bound children. Ms. Brandi Lee will share her vast knowledge and years of experience on the topic of college financial aid on March 13, presented by the SUA Counseling Department. Ms. Lee is the Associate Director of Student Financial Assistance at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She will bring a relatable and down to earth approach to defining financial aid, recent FAFSA changes, and unique circumstances that accompany questions about the cost of higher education. Parents of Seniors: As your daughter receives scholarships from the various colleges/universities she has applied to, please complete this form. It allows us to keep track of all of the dollars awarded to SUA students and promote it! As you might have seen in the news, the FAFSA timeline continues to be pushed back and colleges are subsequently pushing back their financial aid notification dates as well as their enrollment deadlines. If you have any questions about this, please contact your daughter's counselor!

All parents were emailed information regarding a new series of small group sessions available to students to help work through the difficulties felt through perfectionism. Please nominate your daughter to participate if you believe this would be beneficial to her. We will invite all nominated students to participate in these groups this spring! Questions?
