The SUA Counseling Department prioritizes students' connectedness, as students are more likely to engage in healthy behaviors and succeed academically when they feel connected to school. One of the ways we continue to strive toward building student connectedness is through delivery of evidence-based programs. Next Wednesday, April 24, Advisory Student Service Reps have partnered with the Counseling Department to help teach empathy and empower their peers to stop social isolation utilizing the program: Start with Hello.
On Thursday, April 25, all juniors will meet with the counselors to begin the brainstorm and draft process for their college application Personal Statements/College Essays during 5th bell. Juniors were also emailed information last week about the upcoming process of asking for Teacher Recommendation Letters. Juniors may ask for their first teacher letter of recommendation beginning Monday, April 29.
