What’s Laura Learning?

I just started a new book, Adultish: The Body Image Book for Life, by Dr. Charlotte Markey at Rutgers University. The accessible, kind, and clear manner in which it’s written makes it easy to digest. On a whim I decided to call the author, Dr. Markey, and ask if she would be willing to speak to our parent community – and to my delight she agreed! Mark your calendars for November 12 at 6pm for a virtual presentation from Dr. Markey. She’ll be talking with us about how to promote neutral and positive body image and how to help identify disordered eating concerns with our kids. Details to follow!
