SUA Families,
We have an update on the PowerSchool Data Breach we told you about in January. We are pleased to inform you that PowerSchool has provided the information for student and parent credit monitoring. PowerSchool is offering two years of complimentary identity protection services to students, parents, and educators whose information was involved.
As we originally shared in January, PowerSchool informed us that the data taken primarily includes parent and student contact information with data elements such as name, birth dates, emails, and address information. SUA does NOT store social security numbers or any financial information in PowerSchool and never has, so that information was not included.
If you are interested in participating in the credit monitoring, please follow the directions on the PowerSchool site to sign up. Note there is a separate code for participants over and under 18 years of age.
