Saint Ursula’s Secret Sauce – Helpful Tips for Parents

Date:11/11/2525
Reading Time: 2 minutes

It is easy for students to feel as though everyone “just knows” what to do.  The Parent Club will be trying to alleviate a similar feeling for parents and guardians with posts to share helpful tips about navigating life at SUA.  We will feature a question and response each time.  If you have a question, please send it to Parent Club President Beth Clifford (Elizabeth.a.clifford@gmail.com).

PARK IT – BUT WHERE?

  • Where should you park when you need to visit SUA during the schoo day? For those PARENT touch-and-go landings during School Hours – note that the numbered spots are designated for teachers, and a few are purchased by students.  Several VISITOR spots are available in front of the main entrance and at the Saint Ursula Academy Administrative Building (SUAAB).  If the visitor spots are all occupied and you are coming into school during the day, you could use any open spot for a meeting or a short visit to the school.
  • For STUDENTS during the school day, assigned spaces in SUA-owned lots are available to purchase.  These spots are sold each spring for the following school year and are awarded by seniority.  The lots for these assigned spots are Lower Keller (corner of Bell and Wm. Howard Taft), East (next to East building) and SUAAB (Saint Ursula Administrative Building).  Open parking on the street is also available on the streets around school.  Students are encouraged to relocate their cars closer to afternoon activities and the spots are available on first come-first served basis after school hours.
