Saint Ursula Academy has a legacy of excellence in academics dating back to 1910. Saint Ursula Academy never rests on its laurels and is always looking to maintain a high level of excellence by reviewing course offerings, researching best practices, investing in teacher development, and making changes that allow SUA to continue to advance the academic product we offer to our students.

Every 5-7 years, part of that process includes an intentional review of our schedule with scheduling experts to ensure the daily structure best supports the overall success of each student. A few years ago, Saint Ursula modified its schedule to rotate the time each class meets during the week. That ensures every student and teacher meet at their best time of day a few times a week.

Saint Ursula has spent the past year working with schedule experts reviewing our schedule. In the 2024-2025 school year, Saint Ursula anticipates making some new modifications to our collegiate block schedule to enhance the learning opportunities for students and structure time to best support students taking Math and AP courses, among others.

We will spend the year working on the specific details and will communicate them as soon as the modifications are finalized.
