Celebrate Martin Luther King's Legacy with us on Monday, Jan 20! The 2025 King Legacy Celebration: Passing the Torch starts with a breakfast and continues with a commemorative march starting at The National Underground Railroad Freedom Center (The Banks) and ends at Washington Park (OTR).
You're also welcome to visit the Freedom Center as it will be FREE this day and filled with MLK Day programming and activities all day long.
An email has been sent out to all students, giving them a chance to sign up for these events supporting and celebrating MLK.
This year we launched the Innerview Platform to help students sign up and keep track of their service to the school and service to the community. Each student was sent an email with log-in information and they created an account with their SUA email. We have emphasized that we paid an extra fee to have our students' accounts private, but students MUST choose the private setting in their profile. Help us by reminding your daughter to do this! We are excited about this new platform as it connects service and outreach work to a global lens by connecting each activity to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. In addition, students can print and send professional looking portfolios to show all of their community involvement to colleges and employers through their Innerview account.
