2. The Spanish Honor Society participated in a service project supporting Casa de Paz.
3. During this entire quarter, Ms. Elsbrock’s Social Justice classes have been going to serve at various food pantries to learn about food insecurity and local solutions. Students in these classes go weekly to the following locations throughout the city:
SUA hosted 11 Canary Island students for the past month. We ended their stay with a celebration, food, and presentations. Thank you to all the families who hosted these students!

If you haven’t checked it out already, head downtown on a date or with the whole family to learn how to dance some Salsa! They also have food trucks so you can experience some of the food. SUA's Ms. Pam Mallory will be there on Sept 19 for some Cuban Salsa if you would like to join her. It’s a great place to have some fun with friends and family, even if you just want to sit back, listen to music, and watch the show.
