Service Learning and Community Service:
Sophomores in religion class created children’s books about early church leaders and read them aloud to friends at Mercy Montessori.
The Spanish Honor Society created Christmas cards with encouraging and welcoming messages in Spanish to share with women at Casa de Paz, a shelter for Latina women and children who have escaped domestic violence.
Bulldog Buddies tutors shared their time with their buddies at Academy of World Language, Saint Francis DeSales, and Hays Porter.
Equity:
Our student committee helped create a display for Native American Heritage Month. Well done students! See photos below:
Global Education:
12 students attended the World Affairs Council International Education Summit, a full day of workshops held at Northern Kentucky University. It was a great opportunity for learning and collaboration with other high schools.
