Dear SUA Students and Parents/Guardians,

As you know, snow is in the forecast from Thursday evening into Friday morning.  There is a potential that the school day may be impacted, so we want to share all of the possible plans with you in advance.

In the event that we cannot safely have school on Friday, we will transition to an online day. Teachers will share on Thursday what materials the students will need at home for the mandatory online day in case school is cancelled for Friday.  Students will be asked to bring home all that they need for a productive day.  Our plan is to make Friday an online day instead of extending school to Friday, December 19.  

If a 2-hour delayed start is our safest option, school will start at 10:15 a.m.

We will make this decision about the school day and any co-curricular activities as early as possible on Friday morning.  You will be alerted about any delay or closure no later than 6:00 a.m.
