The sophomore Church History & Sacraments classes have recently been diving into the rich history of the Church Fathers to increase their understanding of early church figures and how they impacted the foundational theological decisions of the Catholic Church. One way we did this was creating infographics about the various Church Fathers! Students had an opportunity to do independent research in their assigned groups and use a Canva to creatively present their new knowledge on the Church Father they selected. The girls learned both valuable research skills like assessing the credibility of a source and about the nuances of early Church figures whose politics shaped the foundations of the Catholic Church today!
